You requested greater intensity in a very low impact workout and you got it! This hour long video uses intervals of heavy exertion followed by recovery periods to push you toward peak fitness. Though the choreography is uncomplicated, the intensity level is definitely advanced... if you do it like Charlene, Renee, Lori and Duaine! If you can't keep up the pace for the entire workout, do as much as you can, then start cheating your legs lower. Options are shown to lower intensity if needed. Over time, you'll become fit enough to kick it into 5th gear right to the end. Breakdown is 7 min. warm up, 37 min. aerobics, 8 min. cool down, 8 min. stretch.

Lindsay Brin's Custom Pregnancy Series (2005) Review
Wow!Lindsay is cute and likable.The cardio moves are more difficult than I expected, and are challenging in a positive way.Combining cardio and strength segments make it easier to do all aspects of a good workout at one time, and I actually feel as if my muscles are getting stronger, rather than just being maintained.The Yoga is wonderful.I have tried other Yoga videos (not rated for pregnancy) before, and even the ones labeled 'for beginners' were too strenuous for me, so I was concerned about that - but Lindsay's yoga segments actually relax and revive me.I definitely recommend a yoga mat for stability.I really look forward to using this series throughout my pregnancy and post-partum.My only negative is that I would have liked to see more pregnant women in the videos, rather than only Lindsay who is not pregnant.

15 to Fit: Prenatal Fitness Designed for the Total Body Review
I really enjoyed this DVD.Out of all of the prenatal DVDs I have used, this one demonstrated the most thorough understanding of the physiological needs and demands of a woman in all phases of pregnancy.The exercises are challenging enough, yet I really felt safe.My highest recommendation.

YogaFit Plus: Yoga For Real People Review
I am a bigger woman, and found myslef very disappointed with the fact that I was unable to do many of the traditional yoga poses that can be found on other videos.I came across this video from a friend and am very happy with it.The best part about it is the fact that three different women are doing the poses on the screen at the same time. Each woman is doing the same pose in a different way and for a different level.
One may be doing it "easy" with the aid of a chair, the other maybe using a prop such as a block for a "medium", while the third may be doing it in a little more "advanced" way without the aid of any props.What is great about this dvd is how once you start advancing, you can follow the same video but choose a different woman to emulate and therefore follow the more advanced poses.

This was a really fun DVD.At first I just could not believe it but then I really got into it and it actually was really good.Showing a good mix of Yoga and Pilates that relates to various Kama Sutra sex positions.The concept is brilliant and it looks fantastic.My boyfriend thought it was "awesome"!Possibly the only workout DVD that gets you fit, gets your boyfriend wanting to workout with you - but most likely for a much different motive.Overall really fun!
