If you are new to Pilates this would be an excellent place to start. The slow controlled movements are perfect for beginners just learning all the basic Pilates exercises. This whole-body workout focuses on core strength and stability. To do the exercises all you need is a mat. The exercises include: side stretches, arm circles, cat stretch, half bridge, abdominal curls, child's pose, the hundred, one leg circles, scissors, toe dips, swimming, half plank, side series, teaser prep, side plank and push ups. The instructor advises you to do stretches after your workout but it would have been more helpful if they had shown stretches. Still this is perfect for beginners because there are modifications.
